Job Summary: 

Oversees and helps manage all Marketing departments which include, Casino Hosts, Caesars Rewards, VIP Services, VIP Transportation, Bus, Database Marketing, Special Events and Promotions, and Advertising. Supports brand/property strategy executing flawless service to all guests. Ensures the growth of gaming revenues through flawless execution through identifying and implementing revenue generating database marketing programs and advertising designed to attract and retain customers as well as overseeing the planning, coordination, and implementation of all high-quality, revenue generating customer events, promotions and entertainment. 

Qualifications:  

  • Required 5+ years’ experience in marketing, database utilization and tracking systems as well as experience in casino/hotel and managing multiple projects. 
  • Required marketing management or related experience. 
  • Required proven leadership skills, primarily in the management of a large staff. 
  • Must possess ability to take initiative, be detail-oriented and self-motivated; have strong organizational and communication skills; and be adaptive to changing business needs. 
  • Must have the ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business. 
  • Must have speed and accuracy in order to maintain maximum efficiency.   
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university and 4-6 years of specialized experience in casino operations. 
  • Preferred working knowledge of the system programs/technology related to Caesars Rewards, player tracking, CMS, WINet, etc. 

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Evaluates customer segmentation reinvestment models for growth opportunities in trips, customer win, customer acquisition by segment or game preference. 
  • Oversees Marketing Teams efforts in managing, planning and scheduling of all guest visits to the casino.  
  • Supports and supervises the acquisition and retention of mid and premium level players through the Casino Host Incentive Plan. Plans and establishes quotas; manages hosts to meet goals/quotas. 
  • Analyzes department expenses and customer development efforts to ensure maximum profitability and recommends areas of action if needed.
  • Coordinates marketing research and analysis projects with Marketing, including the compilation of customer and market data in the preparation of various financial and statistical reports. 
  • Develops short and long-range marketing plans to increase Harrah’s share of the mid to premium level gaming markets which may result in contacting and entertaining potential gaming customers, promoting and selling the attributes of the facility and area. 
  • Oversees all VIP events and promotions, in addition to supporting cross property visitation and brand efforts with our VIP and AEP customers and assists in meeting property import/export goals. 
  • Reviews teams’ efforts in creating and executing all marketing programs and ensures that staff produces results against goals and measurements with program initiatives, including events, new acquisitions, Caesars Rewards enhancements and promotions. 
  • Evaluates competition and industry changes that may affect the market. 
  • Manages vendor relationships within the regulatory environment. 
  • Oversees the property promotions and events and provides guidance to Marketing Services Manager. 
  • Oversees the creation, development and implementation of all advertising strategies.  
  • Oversees the organization and execution of all off-premise marketing sponsorships and events. 
  • Manages long term finances, including budget preparation, capital expenditures and analysis of financial performance. 
  • Oversees performance management of Marketing Department. 
  • All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy.
  • Complies with all state and federal regulatory policies and procedures. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino. 
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds. 
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment. 
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time. 
  • Must be able to multitask by being well organized and by paying attention to details. 
  • Must be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
