Casino Beverage Supervisor

Job Summary:

Oversee the daily operations of the Casino Bars (Beverage Department), including snack bars and special events, during assigned shifts. Ensure guests have an exceptional experience by leading a team that delivers outstanding service.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Minimum of 3 years in a beverage supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of wines and mixology required.
  • Demonstrated excellence in leadership, customer service, communication, team-building, and problem-solving.
  • Associate degree or equivalent education in a related field.
  • Proven supervisory and organizational capabilities.
  • Familiarity with beverage administration, cost control, and service standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to foster positive employee relations.
  • Professional appearance and ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Must have a valid ABC/RBS certification or can become certified

Essential Job Functions:

  • Monitor and manage beverage cost control procedures.
  • Recommend and enforce operational policies. 
  • Develop systems for requisitioning and tracking beverage supplies by area.
  • Analyze daily business volume and prepare related reports. 
  • Align staffing levels and labor costs with business needs.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and strategic business plans.
  • Ensure all service areas meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards. 
  • Serve as a role model for staff, upholding company values and standards. 
  • Maintain compliance with attendance, regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Interview, hire, and train team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend wage adjustments or promotions.
  • Address employee concerns and administer disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Plan, assign, and monitor work activities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and gaming regulations.
  • All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (“head on a swivel”); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are “on stage”.   
  • Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:          

  • Ability to navigate all areas of the casino and beverage service locations.
  • Capable of working independently and making sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient in math and financial reporting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in environments with secondary smoke.
  • Able to perform effectively in fast-paced and high-stress situations.
  • Must be fluent in English and responsive to visual and auditory cues.
